Glimpses of a Bahá'í Feast

Local Bahá'ís planning together at Feast

The Bahá'í calendar has months of 19 days, and on the first day of each month the Bahá'ís in each community gather for the Feast. It is a regular gathering that provides a space for the community to share in fellowship and devotion with each other and consult on important matters. Today was the Feast for the month of Words, and our hostess asked us to write down a few words that we associated with the idea of the Bahá'í Feast. Then in partnership with one other person, we combined lists and wrote a haiku. Here are a few brief artistic descriptions of the Feast from the hearts of our community.
